Homemade Banana Syrup and Banana Pancakes / Ray Mack's Kitchen & Grill

Homemade Banana Pancakes

Banana Syrup:
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon banana extract

Banana Pancakes:
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 egg
1/4 butter (melted)
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 tablespoon banana extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 banana

You got to make the banana syrup first, add all of your syrup ingredients into a small sauce pan over high heat...stirring aways. 
when the syrup begins to boil, remove it from the heat and add your banana flavoring.

In a large size bowl mash your 1/2 banana with a fork and add all of the ingredients for the pancakes. You can use a blender or a wire whisk. Heat up your frying pan over medium heat, melt some butter in the pan.

You can use 1/4 cup for smaller pancakes or 1 cup for larger pancakes. Please cook 1 cake at a time or 2 cakes. Cook the pancakes for 2 mins. on one side, flip and cook for 1 min. on the other side unit golden brown. 


serve these pancakes with banana slices and ENJOY!!!
