Southern Style Cube Steak and Gray Recipe | Ray Mack's Kitchen & Grill


Southern Style Cube Steak and Gravy

Ingredients:

6 beef cube steaks
2 medium onions, SLICED
Salt
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Black pepper
Knorr's beef flavoring 
Parsley flakes
All purpose flour 
Vegetable oil, for frying
2 cups water

Gravy Thickner:
3 tablespoon flour
3 or more tablespoons, water


Directions:

1. Seasoning cube steak front and back with all Seasoning listed..(don't add beef flavoring). 
2. Lightly Coat with all purpose flour, set aside.
3. Add oil to a cast iron skillet, over med-high heat, brown on both side. (Don't cook, just brown the cube steaks) remove from the skillet when brown.
4. Drain all of the grease from the pot along with the bits and pieces from the bottom of the skillet. (Don't wash your skillet) PLACE: the skillet back on the stove on medium high heat.
5. ADD: onions to the skillet, cook for 3-5 minutes. ADD: 2 cups waters, add beef flavoring, and all seasoning listed above (please use your on judgment when adding the Seasoning) make gravy thickner (recipe listed above) ADD: slowly while stirring so no lumps will form. 
6. Add meat to the skillet, thicken your Gravy to your liking. Cover with a lid, cook for 25-35 mins. On MEDIUM HEAT.  Stir frequently and add more water if you need to loosen up your gravy while cooking.

Southern Style Candied Yams | Candied Yam Recipe | Ray Mack's Kitchen an...


Southern Candied Yams

Candied yams is a old fashioned side dish that's cooked in a candied mixture on the stove-top with spices, sugar and butter. This recipe is easy and simple the prepare. 

Ingredients
2lb sweet potatoes
3/4 cup dark brown sugar or light brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 stick butter
1 1/2 cups Apple Cider

Instructions

1. Peel and slice your yams into ½ inch rounds. In a medium pot over medium high heat, ADD: apple cider & sweet potatoes, allow to cook for 10-15 mins. ADD: the rest of the ingredients. Stir the sweet potatoes.

2. Let it come to a boil. Cover, then simmer for about 45 minutes or until the yams are nice and tender when slightly pierced with a fork. If the yam is still a bit hard. Let it cook a little longer. 

3. Remove the lid from the skillet, then set stove to medium. Stirring occasionally until the cooking liquid reduces about 10 minute or until the syrup coats the yams. These taste best warm.

The BEST Spicy Chicken Tenders Recipe EVER!!! | Ray Mack's Kitchen & Grill


The BEST SPICY chicken tenders recipe EVER!!!

14 chicken tender strips (I only cooked 7 tenders for this recipe)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoons spicy Seasoning 
1/2 tablespoon paprika 
1/2 tablespoon blackening Seasoning 
1/2 tablespoon lemon pepper Seasoning

Spicy Sauce:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons hot sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
Parsley for color


Direction:
1. Clean your chicken tender, add to a bowl and add all Seasoning listed above, mix well using your hands.
2. Using a cast iron skillet, add 1 tablespoon olive oil, brown chicken on both sides, remove from the skillet when done.
3. Turn down your heat to LOW, add in all of the SPICY SAUCE ingredients listed. Mix well, add the chicken tender back to the skillet, cook for 5 mins. 
4. Serve these tenders with whatever you like on the side.

The Best Way To Cook Beer Batter Fried Shrimp Recipe Ever | Fried Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients:
•2 pounds med or large shrimp

•1 cup All Purpose flour
•2 teaspoon kosher salt
•1 teaspoon baking powder
•2 teaspoon Gator Shake or your favorite seafood seasoning
•2 teaspoon spicy seasoning 
•2/3 cup beer your favorite of course
 
•1/2 cup milk only
•2 large eggs 
•3 cups vegetable oil

1. Stir together in a large bowl, flour, milk, salt, baking powder, seafood seasoning, spicy seasoning.
2. Whisk in the beer, milk, and eggs
3. Add the shrimp to the batter let it rest for 30 minutes before frying.
4. Heat your vegetable oil in a skillet to 365゚add your shrimp 1 at a time to the hot oil. Cooking them on both sides, until they're golden brown and crispy. Remove the shrimp to paper towels to drain excess oil using tongs. Serve as is or with cocktail sauce.

The Best Baked Oven Honey Shrimp Ever!!! | BEST SHRIMP RECIPE

Ingredients: 
Parley & Lemon Zest
•Chopped Parsley 
•Lemon Zest from 1 Lemon 
Mix in a small bowl, cover and place in the fridge until ready to use.

•1 or 2 pounds of med. or large shrimp
•Cayenne pepper 
•Cajun Seasoning
•Soy sauce
•Honey
•1/2 cup Olive oil 
•Lemon Juice from 2 lemons

1.Clean and devein your shrimp, remove the shell. Add to a bowl all of the ingredients. Toss well, cover, and let it marinade in the fridge for 1 hour. Stirring it occasionally. 

2. Preheat your oven to 450° degrees, Place your shrimp on a baking pan or large sheet pan, spread them out in 1 layer. Bake your shrimp for 8 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle the shrimp with the Parsley and Lemon Zest mixture, serve this with toasted white bread or sliced French bread. ENJOY!!!

How Do you Make Alfredo Sauce From Scratch | Pasta Sauce




Easy Alfredo Sauce Recipe

Ingredients: 
Salt (add to taste)
Black pepper (add to taste)
3/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream
1 stick unsalted butter 
Chopped fresh Parsley 
Pasta noodle (whatever noodles you like)

Directions:
0:00 - Ingredients 
0:12 -  Prepare noodles according to directions on the back of the package. Add oil, salt to your water to keep your pasta from sticking.
0:27 -  Heat the unsalted butter and whipping cream in a skillet over low heat, always stirring constantly until the butter is melted. 
2:05 - add your salt and pepper, stir in your cheese, until the sauce is smooth.
4:38 - add your chopped Parsley...
Drain your pasta, pour the sauce over your hot pasta, stir until the pasta is well coated with the sauce. Sprinkle with more Parsley and seasoning to taste.

These recipe can go well with any pasta dish... Please experient with this Alfredo sauce recipe, Music on baked potatoes, meat dishes, seafood recipes...you'll love it.

This is my take on the well-known super easy Manwich sloppy joe sauce, yes this is a copycat recipe and it's delish. A sloppy joe is a sandwich consisting of ground beef or pork, onions, tomato sauce or ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and other seasonings, served on a hamburger bun. The dish originated in the United States during the early 20th century. Some people call this a "LOOSE MEAT SANDWICH" this recipe can be used on HOTDOGS, HAMBURGERS, CHILI BEANS, you name it. Ground beef 1 can tomato sauce 1/2 cup ketchup 1 tablespoon dried chopped onions 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 teaspoon celery (I said 1 tablespoon in the video that was a mistake) 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon ground mustard 1 tablespoon all purpose seasoning 1/2 chopped green bell pepper Hamburger buns Sliced American cheese (optional) Direction: 0:00 - intro 0:53 - brown your ground beef. 1:10 - drain the grease from your meat. 1:30 - add all of you Ingredients to the beef. 2:59 - mix everything together, let it cook on medium high heat until the liquid evaporate and the sauce becomes thick. 3:35 - serve this up with you favorite hamburger buns, add cheese if you like.
