Southern-Style Homemade Hash browns | Ray Mack's Kitchen and Grill



Ingredients:

•5 white potatoes 🥔

•1 med. onion 🌰

•All in One Seasoning (Spain's Spices) or use your favorite all purpose seasoning

•Black pepper

•Italian Seasoning

• 2 tablespoon butter (1 for each side)

•Parsley for garnish



Directions:

1. Clean and skin your potatoes.

2.  Shred your potatoes using a cheese shredded.

3. Dice your onion.

4. Add your potatoes and onion to a bowl, along with all your seasoning and mix well.

5. Heat a cast iron skillet 🍳 on the stove, add 1 tablespoon butter 🧈. Add your potato mixture to the hot skillet. Flatten your potatoes to the skillet using a spatula this will help form a crush.

6. Once the bottom forms a crush, flip your potatoes onto a clean plate, add 1 tablespoon butter to the skillet and add the potatoes back as well.

7. Cook your hash browns until it become CRISPY. DIVIDE it up into portions and ENJOY.



COOKING TIP:  After you shred your potatoes using the cheese shredder,  Place your raw potatoes onto paper towel sheets and squeeze until all of the water moisture is squeezed out. This will definitely give you a crispier hash brown.

How To Make The Best Grilled Steak Ever | Ray Mack's Kitchen and Grill



Ingredients:

•2 Rib-Eye Beef Steaks

•2 tablespoons soy sauce

•1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

•2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

•1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard

•1 tablespoon brown sugar

•1/4 teaspoon cajun seasoning

•1/2 teaspoon garlic & herb seasoning (Spain's Spices)

•1/2 teaspoon red onion powder (Spain spices)

•1/2 teaspoon black pepper



Directions:

1. Mix all of your ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

2. Using 2 ziplock bags, place your steak inside, pour steak marinade over steaks...seal tightly.

3. Set your charcoal or gas grill up for indirect grilling. Oil you grill grates.

4. Place your steaks on the hot side first, grill for 2-3 minutes per. side. After that move steaks to the side with no charcoal. Check your steaks for your desired doneness. Rare: 120° degrees, Med. Rare: 130° degrees, Med. 135° degrees, Well Done: 140° degrees or higher.



■You can baste your steak with herb butter if you like, but you will definitely enjoy this recipe.
