Carolina Gold BBQ Pork Chop: How To Cook
Carolina Gold BBQ Pork Chops
Ingredients:
4 center cut pork chops
Garlic salt
Black pepper
All Purpose seasoning
Onion powder
Barbecue seasoning
Holy Smokes Meat Rub
Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce:
George's BBQ sauce
Small bottle of French's yellow mustard
1/2 onion chopped
Directions:
Wash and clean your meat, after that season both sides of your Pork Chops. Allow your pork chops to rest on the counter 15 minutes before grilling wrapped in plastic wrap.
Set your gas grill or charcoal grill up for cooking over direct heat, make sure that your grill grates are greased with oil, this will prevent your meat from sticking.
Now you can prepare your Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce. chop your half onion, now take your bottle of George's BBQ sauce or any North Carolina vinegar-based barbecue sauce will work, along with the mustard and chopped onions and add to a saucepan. Bring your sauce to a slow boil for about 30 minutes. You can place the sauce pan on the grill with your pork chop to keep warm and this will cause the sauce to thicken.
Base your pork chops with the Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce every 15 to 20 minutes. Your pork chop should be ready when the juices run clear or when they become tender. You could use your Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce as a dipping sauce as well. Enjoy
